Moved by the horrendous disaster in Haiti earlier this week, Etsy artists have joined in the effort to raise funds for relief. The first two showcased items are being donated from my own stores, and many independent sellers are doing likewise. Other sellers are participating in group efforts such as HeartsforHaiti. There are beautiful creations in all categories and at all price ranges to be found on Etsy's search pages, using the search term "Haiti" or "Haiti relief." We can all participate with our purchases and our donations. Click on the pictures to go directly to these Etsy listings. Prices range from $6.50 to $45.00

How kind of those artists! So many people trying to do what they can. I hope the relief can get to the Haitians soon.

Based on what the past and current US presidents said yesterday, money is desperately needed. It is good to see Etsy artists trying to raise funds with their donated creations. Lots of Etsians have also taken the time to create treasuries for this cause.

In the less than 2 full days over 100 items have sold and over $1,500 has been raised! i donated a necklace called Remembrance and plan on donationing some other items tonight!

What a terrific forum/site! Our family has friends who have family in Haiti. In addition to donating funds myself, I immediately thought of our generous Etsians. We can all help out, one way or another.
