My theme today is the color "white", and the first Etsy listing that caught my eye was a piece of vintage milkglass. I'm saving "vintage" for another day's topic, and focus for now simply on the loveliness of ethereal, creamy white in various manifestations of new and old creations. I found myself going back and forth in time as I ran across milkglass and broken china repurposed as jewelry, then some modern-day handcrafted porcelain pieces that reminded me of the classic hobnail motif of milkglassware. Creamy white goes organic with handcrafted creations in felted and repurposed fiber, modern stoneware and an ethereal natural orb of lava.
